Main Course California at 1363 Donlon St. in Ventura (behind Target) carries bread made with Brad from Anna mix. They can make you a gluten free sandwich or even sell you a loaf. They are working on developing their own recipe.

I have had the bread and a great chicken sandwich here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered my sandwich from my desk at work and it was ready and waiting when I got there to pick it up. The bread tastes like a good wheat bread. I don't know how she does it, but it is true. I have not asked, but it has to be whole grain and I think maybe flax. It's really good. My non-celiac husband eats it. We have made garlic bread with it and toasted it to go with a cheese platter.

Oh, and I have to mention the gourmet cole slaw. A new delicious twist with an olive oil dressing and red peppers. The cafe/restaurant is tucked in behind the Target store off of Main street on Donlon. They have nice sidewalk signs so it was easy to find coming from the Main street side. Next week I will order a cake or cookies.
