I wanted to share with you some basics I gave to a parent concerned about their 2-yr old playing with the puppy.
The only thing you need to worry about as far as his celiac is concerned is if he gets into the dog's food. Most dog foods contain gluten. You should also watch out for the dog licking your son's face after the dog eats. There could be pieces of food still in the dog's mouth that could transfer to your son's mouth. Regularly brushing your dog's teeth would help in this area, as well as be very healthy for the dog. You could also purchase gluten free dog food.
Other than that, just watch out for those little teeth and claws.
