GF summer Camp - Register early!
Celiac Camp, California - an old-fashioned overnight summer camp for kids (ages 8 to 17) restricted to a gluten free diet - will return in 2008 for a full week: Sunday, August 3 through Friday, August 8. The Camp is sponsored by the Taylor Family Foundation and is held at Camp Arroyo in Livermore, California, approximately one hour from San Francisco . Activities include swimming, boating, arts and crafts, a ropes course, campfire, sports, and the regular activities you find at an overnight summer camp. The only difference is at this camp all the food is entirely gluten free! There is no need to ask: "is this gluten free?" Registration materials will be available beginning February 1, 2008 at www.celiaccamp.com. Camp is free except for a $25 registration fee per camper. We must give priority to campers from Northern California, but we expect to have some spaces for campers from other areas available on a first come first serve basis.
