I have a question. I know there is the danger of cross contamination using wood utensils. What about utensils made of bamboo?

Wood Utensils
Wood and bamboo are pourous and can absorb food particles. I would replace all wood utensils and cutting boards just to be on the safe side. You should also watch for plastic bowls and utensils with deep scratches that can hold food particles.
